Review from The Kindle Book Review

The Kindle Book Review just ran their take on One Less Elvis (and Other Stories)
4.0 out of 5 stars A collection of gritty stories
Elvis,w effects 2A collection of five stories which are all completely different and all have their own particular message. Consisting of “One Less Elvis,” a gritty story of murder and Elvis impersonators, which I felt had an interesting ending. A story of drugs, families and Reverend McDermott, which I felt had a satisfying ending. A man stands on a building waiting to jump off in “This and That,” and I won’t spoil the ending on that one. Another surprising ending for me in “The Great Escape,” but satisfying. “Pizzazz” is the last offering and a different ending to what I was expecting on this one.The characters in all five stories are well written, gritty and come alive on the page. The pace is fast, but that said, it is a selection you can dip in and out of as you feel, or sit down and read all five in an evening. It is an often dark selection, humorous at times, and there are many twists throughout the collection.
